It's funny how America works it's game

Growing up as a kid it appeared that individual success and capitalism was the thing to do. I remember being inspired by the opportunity for personal success and individual power to achieve my desires with hard work and dedication. Eastern philosophy seemed boring and that everyone work the same way. People with Eastern style mindsets worked in a group style fashion and there was less individuality involved. It almost appeared that other countries were boring and had no personality because they did everything together.

Well over time America has embraced the Eastern concept and now is stressing this philosophy with the emphasis that teamwork, diversity, and group style mindsets are more successful with fulfilling a goal or an objective than an individual person. Working as a group and being on the same page is the thing to do now. Not to say this philosophy is incorrect, but it is funny how America flips the script so quickly. I guess damage control will need to include some Eastern philosophy for our future.

However what I don't appreciate is how America bashes the old concept of individual success because it literally disrespects those who invested into the system and basically discredits everything they learned from the past. Instead of adding or including diversity and teamwork into a transition of new philosophy, America is making Individuality and self-success sound like a bad thing. How can you teach people that this concept is right and then turn around and say they are completely wrong for utilizing it? Is there a tactic to encourage those who invested in their education of the past to re-invest? Is this way of making more money by making people feel that they are wrong for using what they learned. I simply disagree with the way these new textbooks are bashing individuality and success. I feel there is still a need for individual success because leaders do need ways to separate themselves from the rest in order to contribute to the greater good of society.

I am just saying....
